Closing Night

On Sunday night, MY FAIR LADY became the last Signature musical to grace our stage. I made a tribute at the top of the show and the entire cast came to places early so they could hear my words, which was nice. It was an emotional time. To think that we’ve had 47 productions in that little garage with over 560 weeks of performances — that’s a pretty amazing feat. We had champagne for the entire audience at intermission to toast the garage. At the end of the show, the audience just kept applauding and applauding after the cast took their final bow. It was great because it almost felt like they were applauding the garage and all the great theatre it has brought to us all. There are so many fond memories that we have from the space and many will come to life during the LAST GARAGE HURRAH CONCERT in two weeks. It's going to be a very special good-bye.
