The beginning of the end

Well the first two previews of MY FAIR LADY have come and gone. The show’s doing very well and I'm thrilled with everything that’s happening on the stage. It's great to see the audience listening so intently and enjoying themselves. One audience member said, "It was a master class in acting." So now it’s all about getting the show running smoothly and just tightening where needed.

What I’ve been moved by most of all is the sentiment from the audience about this being the last show in the garage. Going down the hallway into the theater we’ve put up a special display of highlights from all the Signature shows in the garage. People are stopping to read, reminisce, and some are actually moved to tears. On the night of the first preview two ladies ran up on the stage after the performance and pulled out their camera to have their picture taken on the set of the last show in the garage. I was so touched. People have come to love this garage so much that I am sure the next few weeks are going to be bittersweet for us all as we pack up for the move to the new building.
