MEET THE BLOB

Today we met the blob! And what a blob they are!

Having time with everyone to create the party scene at Gussie's house was amazing! The show is all going well. And there’s a lot of movement and dance in it. The ensemble is working really hard in playing so many roles. They never leave the stage.

And the hallways are full of the sounds of Erik Liberman (Charley) banging away on his typewriter in OPENING DOORS. We try and touch that number everyday because it’s very complicated with all the rhythms.

Today the circular light truss went up in The MAX. It looks terrific as it mirrors the deck floor. Hopefully we can finish act two tomorrow and move onto act one next. We ran the last three scenes today backwards and it was a very eye opening experience for all. As Tory Ross (Gussie) said, "Well, that messed with my head!"
