BEGINNING THE JOURNEY...

GLORY DAYS rehearsals started yesterday off with a bang — the guys just dove into the score.

We have made some changes in notes and rhythms from the summer workshop so all the guys are starting from scratch again. The cast is young, talented, and terrific. They all work really well together. Even after one day. And many know Nick and James from past shows.

It was great seeing Nick and James excited about launching GLORY DAYS. I guess being 23 and being able to have a fully-produced musical is really unheard of. But I’m glad that Signature is paving that road.

The risers and lights are being loaded into the MAX already. And then this Thursday, we’ll actually start rehearsing on the set in the ARK Theatre. We’re going to be posting the designs of the sets and costumes throughout the process. And I’ll give you day-to-day accounts of the rehearsal room.

We’ve got a lot to get done before our two days off at Christmas. So the next three days will be spent wood shedding the music and doing a few rewrites on the script.
