DANCING IN THE STUDIO

It's been a terrific preview week for THE STUDIO.

I've been getting emails from audience members who loved the production, the cast, and what it says about creativity in the world.

Of course, you always have some drama as well. It wouldn’t be live theater without it! One of the dancers pulled a muscle in his neck on Thursday, so we had to cancel Friday's performance. Audiences were very understanding and when they see the play and how physically demanding it is they will appreciate the cautious steps we took to protect our amazing cast.

THE STUDIO has three more weeks to run so hurry and see it now. It's a very special piece of theater.

I've been fortunate enough to catch other theater in town - THE WOMEN OF BREWSTER PLACE at Arena, TITANIC at Toby's, and AMBITION FACING WEST at Theatre Alliance - all offering great moments on stage. Makes you proud and lucky to be working in such a talented town. So go see all the shows in town - plenty of great stuff going on
