ACE - TAKE ONE

Today, we did a read/sing through of the entire show. It went really well. It was the first time hearing ACE with all the major rewrites that were done over the spring and summer months. And the good news is… they all worked like gangbusters.

We have four actors who’ve done previous productions of ACE. They’ve all told me how much they loved the new material — how it supports the characters so much more. All the new songs were also a big hit. Lots of tissues came out during the run; it's a emotional piece especially with the parallels of war.

Tomorrow we’ll do some character work and then start getting ACE up on its feet.
