ONE LONG NIGHT

Well John has done it again. As I knew he would, he came into rehearsal today with a terrific lyric for a new song and a whole new scene with such a strong point of view. Everyone was just beaming around the table saying, “This is great!” So with the next day off, he'll take the time to really massage it all and get it into good shape with some minor changes and thoughts.

This afternoon was more time with the Witches singing their trios. It takes a lot of time but we have to set all breaths and cut offs but still not lose the individuality of each character. It's a tricky thing and that's why we're spending so much time on it.

We ended the day rehearsing with our 10-year old Brittany who plays the Little Girl. She’s in terrific voice so it was fantastic to spend time just with her on her material.
