32,000 FEET

No, we're not climbing Mt. Everest. But 32,000 is the number of feet of rope lighting that is in the moon that lights up the set. The moon itself is 18 feet in diameter and goes floor to ceiling in the theater. It looks pretty wonderful.

In addition to the moon, there are some other great design elements and special effects. I mean, how many times to you get to work on a show with a leather bed or someone vomiting cherry pits and quarters! You gotta’ love musical theater!

Today, we finish working through act two and then run the entire show before we begin tech tomorrow. There are a lot of pieces to this show and slowly but surely it’s all coming together.

I'm very pleased about where we are in the process. And the three witches continue to amaze me. Their voices just soar with this score.
