WE'RE STILL HERE

The Witches are comin'! The Witches are comin'!

We've been missing all of our SAVING AIMEE girls but are looking forward to having our new roommates (it's been so lonely here backstage, just the two of us). To make up for our lack of backstage friends, we have a great pre-show song list:

"It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp"
"Rehab"
"Holla-Back Girl"
the Once on This Island soundtrack... and lots of other great tunes.

These really help us get into those repressed, mid-18th century women.

But seriously, we're midway through our run and things have been going swimmingly. This past week we had a bout of illness hit Signature and our show in particular. We sniffled through and have come to the other side.

Some of our favorite audience moments of late: a seeing-eye dog who tried to lick Stephen (the Chaplain) on his entrance but was otherwise very well-behaved; a woman who sang along with Daniel Boone and Susanna on the end of their song (we think she came back just for the music! Thanks Matt Nielson for the tunes!); and the woman who on Vanessa's slap cried out, "That's right!"

This week we're looking forward to our talkback Wednesday night and another Pride weekend!

Hope to see you there! (By the way, NEST makes an excellent second viewing. It can help to clarify questions, and you can apparently sing along!)
